❓ FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about creating and managing services.
Why don't I see Package, Group, or 4 Hands options when creating a category?
+

You need to enable Advanced Services first. Go to Settings → Service Categories and click the Advanced Services: OFF button to turn it on.

Can a service belong to more than one category?
+

Yes! When creating or editing a service, click + Add More next to the Category field to assign the service to multiple categories at once.

What is a promo price used for?
+

The promo price is a discounted rate used automatically in Last Minute Discount campaigns and other marketing promotions in YBP. Toggle it on and enter the lower price when setting it up.

What's the difference between "Add-on" and a regular service?
+

An Add-on service cannot be booked on its own — it must be combined with another service during the booking process. Toggle this on when the service is supplementary, like "nail art design" added to a manicure.

Can I restrict when a specific service can be booked?
+

Yes. Scroll to Booking availability in the service form and toggle on Restrict booking to specific times. You can then set specific days and time ranges when this service is available for online booking.

  2. Organize Services Logically: Group similar services under the same category for better navigation.

  3. Avoid Duplicates: Ensure each category is unique to prevent confusion.

  4. Regularly Review Categories: Update or remove outdated categories to keep the system clean and efficient.
