Step-by-Step Guide to Managing Service Categories on YBP

1. Create a New Service Category

  • Click CREATE in the Service Categories section.

  • Fill in the details:

    • Name: Enter the name of the new category (e.g., “Gel Polish & Manicure”).

  • Click SAVE to create the category.


2. Edit a Service Category

  • In the Service Categories section, locate the category you want to modify.

  • Click EDIT to update the name or other details.

  • Save your changes.


3. View Service Categories

  • Go to the Service Categories section in YBP.

  • You’ll see a list of existing service categories with details like:

    • Name: Name of the category (e.g., “NAIL ART,” “Treatment Pedicure”).

    • Action: Options to EDIT or DELETE the category.

  • Use the SEARCH bar to find specific categories or click RESET to clear the search.


4. Delete a Service Category

  • In the Service Categories section, locate the category you want to remove.

  • Click DELETE to remove the category from the system.

  • Note: Ensure that no services are linked to this category before deleting it.

  1. Use Clear and Descriptive Names: Make it easy for customers and staff to understand what each category includes (e.g., “NAIL ART” or “Treatment Pedicure”).

  2. Organize Services Logically: Group similar services under the same category for better navigation.
