Step 1 — Set Up Service Categories
Before creating any service, you need a category. Categories group your services and define what type they are (Single, Package, Group, or 4 Hands).
Go to Settings → Service Categories
From your dashboard, go to Settings → Service Categories. Here you can see all existing categories and their types, and create new ones.
Click "+ Create" and set the category type
Click the + Create button. Give your category a name, choose the service type (Single, Package, Group, or 4 Hands), and save. You can create as many categories as you need.
Single Service Standard
The most common type. One employee, one client, one appointment. Covers all standard fields: name, price, duration, promo price, online booking, availability, and notes.
Go to Settings → Services and click "+ Create"
Head to Settings → Services. Use the filters to find existing services, or click + Create to open the service creation form.
Enter service name, category, VAT, price & duration
Fill in the Service name, select a Category (you can add multiple with + Add More), pick a VAT rate for invoices, then set the Price and Duration.
Configure promo price, online booking & availability
Toggle Enable promo price to set a discount price used for last-minute slots and campaigns. Toggle This service can be booked online to make it visible on your booking page. Use Booking availability to restrict when clients can book this service to specific days and times.
Assign employees & save
On the right panel, select which employees can perform this service. Toggle All employees or check individual staff. Click Save Service when done.
Package Service + Sessions
Sell a service as a bundle of multiple sessions — perfect for laser hair removal, physiotherapy, or any treatment that requires repeat visits. Requires Advanced Services to be ON.
Make sure your category is set to "Package Service"
In Service Categories, the category you're using must have its type set to Package Service. Also confirm Advanced Services is turned ON.
Set the "No. of Sessions"
This is the key difference from a Single Service. After setting your price and duration, you'll see a No. of Sessions field. Enter how many sessions are included in the package (e.g. 6 sessions of laser hair removal).
Complete remaining fields & save
Fill in online booking toggles, assign employees on the right panel, add any notes for clients, then click Save Service.
Group Service + Employees
Use when multiple employees perform the same service simultaneously — for example, a group training session or a workshop. Requires Advanced Services to be ON.
Ensure your category is set to "Group Service"
In Service Categories, the category must be set to Group Service and Advanced Services must be ON.
Set "No. of Employees"
After selecting the Group Service category, you'll see a No. of Employees field appear above the pricing section. Enter how many employees will work this service at the same time.
Fill remaining fields & save
Complete price, duration, online booking settings, assign all participating employees on the right panel, and click Save Service.
4 Hands Service + Combinations
Two employees work on one client at the same time, each performing a different sub-service. Uses an Alias Name for the booking page and a Service Combinations table to define what each employee does. Requires Advanced Services ON.
Ensure your category is set to "4 Hands Service"
In Service Categories, the category must be set to 4 Hands Service and Advanced Services must be ON.
Fill in Alias Name & No. of Employees
Instead of a service name, 4 Hands uses an Alias Name — this is what clients see on your booking link. Set No. of Employees to the number of staff working simultaneously (typically 2).
Build your Service Combinations
Scroll down to the Service Combinations section. Click + Add Service to add each sub-service one employee will perform, along with its duration. Each row = one employee's task.
Assign employees & save
Make sure you've assigned at least 2 employees on the right panel — one for each combination. Then click Save Service.
